- Pinarello is the Italian premium brand — handmade in Treviso, Italy, with the Dogma line as the halo. The brand has won 16 Tour de France titles (most recently with Ineos Grenadiers / Team Sky). Pinarello is known for asymmetric frame design: the drive side is stiffer than the non-drive side to balance pedaling forces
- Road hierarchy: Dogma F (all-around race, the pro bike) → Dogma X (endurance) → Paris (value endurance). The Dogma F is the bike of the Ineos Grenadiers pro team; the Dogma X is the endurance variant with more tire clearance and compliance
- Gravel: Grevil (carbon, 42 mm clearance) and Grevil F (lighter, more aero). Pinarello entered gravel late but the Grevil carries the Dogma DNA — asymmetric design, Onda seatstays, Italian craftsmanship
- Signature design: Onda waves (the wavy fork blades and seatstays), asymmetric frame (drive side reinforced), TiCR internal routing, and the Most cockpit (Pinarello's in-house component brand). Every Pinarello is visually distinctive — you can identify one from across the road

Road — Dogma F, Dogma X, Paris
Dogma F: Pinarello's flagship race bike, the bike of the Ineos Grenadiers pro team. The 'F' stands for 'Faster' — it's the latest iteration of the Dogma line that has won 16 Tours de France. The frame uses T1100 1K Dream carbon (the lightest, highest-modulus Pinarello layup) with an asymmetric design: the drive side is reinforced to handle chain tension forces, the non-drive side is lighter. The signature Onda (Italian for 'wave') fork blades and seatstays are wavy, not straight — Pinarello claims this shape absorbs vibration better.
Dogma X: Pinarello's endurance variant of the Dogma. Same asymmetric DNA and Onda waves, but with a more relaxed geometry (taller stack, shorter reach), 40 mm tire clearance, and a compliance seatpost. The carbon is T900 3K (lower modulus than T1100) for more compliance — the Dogma X trades race stiffness for comfort. It's the bike for long days and rough roads where the Dogma F would be too harsh.
Paris: Pinarello's value endurance platform. The frame uses T600 carbon (entry-grade) with the same asymmetric design and Onda fork as the Dogma. The geometry is endurance-focused. At ≈$4,000 with 105 Di2, it's the entry point to the Pinarello brand — the same aesthetic and geometry philosophy at half the Dogma price.
Pinarello road family. The Dogma F is the pro race bike; Dogma X is endurance; Paris is the value endurance platform.
| Model | Category | Carbon grade | Key feature | Tire clearance | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dogma F | All-around race | T1100 1K Dream (top) | Asymmetric frame, Onda fork, TiCR routing; Ineos pro bike | 30 mm | ≈$12,500 (Dura-Ace Di2) |
| Dogma X | Endurance | T900 3K (compliance) | Same Dogma DNA, relaxed geo, 40 mm clearance, compliance seatpost | 40 mm | ≈$9,000 (Ultegra Di2) |
| Paris | Value endurance | T600 (entry carbon) | Endurance geo, asymmetric frame, Onda fork; entry Pinarello | 30 mm | ≈$4,000 (105 Di2) |

Gravel — Grevil and Grevil F
Grevil: Pinarello's gravel platform, with 42 mm tire clearance (700c) or 2.1" (650b). The frame carries the Dogma DNA — asymmetric design (drive side reinforced), Onda wavy seatstays, and TiCR internal routing. The Grevil is for riders who want Italian craftsmanship and the Pinarello aesthetic in a gravel bike. The Grevil F (2023) added more aero tube shaping and a refreshed front end.

| Model | Carbon grade | Tire clearance | Key feature | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grevil F | T900 (compliance) | 42 mm (700c) / 2.1" (650b) | Asymmetric frame, Onda seatstays, more aero than Grevil | ≈$6,500 (Force AXS XPLR) |
| Grevil | T900 (compliance) | 42 mm (700c) / 2.1" (650b) | Original Grevil; round bar; value gravel Pinarello | ≈$4,500 (Rival AXS XPLR) |

Pinarello's signature design language
Onda waves: the wavy fork blades and seatstays (Onda = 'wave' in Italian). Pinarello has used Onda shapes since the 2000s; the claim is that the wavy shape absorbs vibration better than straight tubes. Whether the wave actually improves compliance is debated, but it's the visual signature of every Pinarello.
Asymmetric frame: the drive side of every Pinarello frame is reinforced (stiffer) than the non-drive side. The logic: the drivetrain pulls on the drive side under pedaling, so that side needs more stiffness. The asymmetry is visible if you look closely — the drive-side chainstay and seat tube are beefier.
TiCR (Total Integrated Cable Routing): Pinarello's internal routing system, with cables running through the headset bearings. Found on all current Dogma and Grevil models. The cockpit must be Most (Pinarello's in-house brand) or TiCR-compatible aftermarket.
Most: Pinarello's in-house component brand (Most = 'Pinarello' reversed, roughly). Most makes the cockpits, seatposts, bars, stems, and some wheels for Pinarello bikes. Most components are designed to match Pinarello frames — the jagged shapes and integrated routing are coordinated.
Italian threaded BB: most Pinarello frames use a standard Italian-threaded bottom bracket (70 mm wide). Note: Italian BB is wider than standard BSA (68 mm) — check BB compatibility before buying aftermarket cranks. Some newer models use T47 or PressFit.
