Trail and enduro — Bronson, Hightower, Tallboy, 5010
Bronson: Santa Cruz's flagship enduro/all-mountain bike, 150 mm travel, MX wheels. The Bronson is the brand's most popular model — capable of bike park but efficient enough for all-day rides. Downhill — V10
V10: Santa Cruz's legendary downhill bike, 200 mm travel. The V10 has won more downhill World Championships than any other platform. CC carbon only, with a choice of 29" or MX (29 front / 27.5 rear) for different terrain. The V10 is the bike of the Santa Cruz Syndicate team (Greg Minnaar, Laurie and Loris Vergier).

VPP suspension — Santa Cruz's signature
VPP (Virtual Pivot Point): a counter-rotating dual-link suspension design. The upper link rotates one direction, the lower link the opposite, creating a virtual pivot whose position moves through the travel. The result: a rearward axle path at the start of the travel (for square-edge bump absorption) that becomes more vertical deeper in the stroke (for mid-stroke support and pedaling efficiency).
VPP is tuned per model. On the Tallboy and 5010 (short-travel), VPP is tuned firm for pedaling efficiency. On the Bronson, Megaton, and V10 (long-travel), VPP is tuned plush for big-hit absorption. The lower-link-mounted shock (on current Bronson/Hightower/Megaton) is a recent refinement that improves small-bump sensitivity and allows a stiffer frame.
